Praise the Lord, Ron,

I am so blessed to know you and I praise the Lord so much to bring you Ron, Lia and Romina. I love Romina’s way of doing things always. In fact you have explained to me very well all of you explaining those aspects of market research that I wasn’t aware of. And even If I am hesitant to mention these things, I realise it is very good for all of us to speak out on those questions that are on our mind. For, how else will we be able to work and communicate over such long distances?

My VPS Team has started today doing the market research and we feel we are well equipped to do this work knowing the background and necessary questions they must ask. I hope in same few days time, I will write more on some important results for the development of this issue.

Let me hear from you if possible again.

Pastor Fred.

Hey Lia and everyone who loves others to lift their standard of living in developing countries. I am so happy to form a women’s cooperative because they will work in teams well and they bear the profits and losses together and their orphan children will lean to work in team as well, from their mothers.

The best telephone providers in Uganda is MTN. It doesn't goes off because of electrical failure, because they have a standby generator. If one of their customers has problems, they take quick steps to work on it, they’re very flexible and they’re friendly, their costs always are good according to their rendered serves and much more. I hope they will help us.

Women are still asked me where the start capital comes from? Others ask whether it would be good project to bring in volunteers to help with?

Well let me end here for now
.
God bless you.

Pastor Fred.

Thank you so much for prayers, support and advice that you have given so far. We are looking forward to working with you in setting up our VPS. Our VPS women’s co-op consists of five women:

1-Rachael .W
2-Biryeli .F
3-Falida .M
4-Eva .S
5-Mugoya .C
6-Fiona .K

They are all widows and, as you can imagine, they are excited to participate in a business that helps support their families. We are happy that God has opened doors for them to have their village phone salon. Now they will have income in their families: for their orphaned children to go to school, for food, clothing and many many other necessities.

One thing I am concerned with is the importance of focusing on education and training before focusing on funding and technology. The women have to understand the guidelines for running their business. What are sound business practices? How should they work together? How to promote fair and honest business? What will make their business successful? What are the possible problems? How can they avoid problems? How can they solve them?

I will be writing many blog posts throughout the next months. Please feel free to make a comment on my blog or write me an email directly. Thank you for your help and kindness.
